EXPERIENCE

Bernard commands 28 years of experience as a fully qualified architect and has worked on multi-million-pound complex projects. He has also practised as a site architect and contracts administrator and has a proven track record of handling and managing large construction projects. Bernard’s experience is underpinned by a solid grounding, having been apprenticed and articled in traditional architects’ drawing offices earlier in his career; hence, as a fully qualified architect he aims to exact the highest design standards as demanded by the Royal Institute of British Architects.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS AND SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Lead design and project architect for Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet dance studios, which won a Brick Award for design.
  • Design architect for the 11-storey Cyclops Wharf luxury flats development on the Isle of Dogs, London Docklands.
  • Design architect for the conversion of the Richard Crossman old library at Coventry University into classrooms, lecture theatres, offices, laboratories and seminar rooms, with three restaurants including a five-star restaurant, all of which became a showcase for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
  • The £12 million St Marks refurbishment in Leicester City .Press coverage of the scheme’ success led to Bernard being interviewed on the BBC, and appearing in the Leicester Mercury, including an editorial feature.
