THE COMPANY

Kunstler Architects is a firm of architects founded by Bernard Taruvinga in 2006. Bernard is a chartered architect, the company’s managing director and lead design architect.

APPROACH

The practice handles a diverse portfolio of projects in the UK and is committed to producing high-quality creative designs in rural, traditional or contemporary design styles. We strive to produce stunning buildings that are detailed, well-proportioned, elegant, beautifully crafted and robust; this includes new houses, house extensions and flat conversions, new flats, commercial and other medium-sized projects. The company deals with complex new-build projects, difficult sites and challenging refurbishments. There is versatility in our design approach that enables us to switch between various architectural styles to suit each individual client’s needs and expectations and ultimately see our projects through from inception to completion. Kunstler Architects has experience of dealing with local planning authorities.

STUDIO

Kunstler Architects’ studio is run by Bernard Taruvinga supported by a team of highly skilled, architectural assistants and technologists. The firm collaborates with other consultants to offer a broad-based service to our clients. Depending on the size of the particular development, project needs and requirements are assessed and the client will be advised as to which consultants will be needed. All consultants will be directly commissioned by the client and these can include structural engineers, mechanical engineers, civil and highway engineers, planning consultants and quantity surveyors, for example.Kunstler Architects also teams up with reputable builders to offer turnkey, design and build project services to their clients.
